Exactly. Same thing happened in the oil business. We thought most of the giant reserves had been discovered, but then new drilling and recovery technology (and, admittedly, rising prices) made tight or thin reservoirs commercial, and now the U.S. (of all nations!) which had been explored early, is nevertheless about to be the #1 oil producer in the world.

New technology indeed. That is also why I am so interested to see LODE and ITRO consulting on better tailings and ore recovery techniques.
