LOL, I do, I'm definitely not that type of person Hahahahaha! I have the same issues with gimmicky fad diets as I do with "proven scientific methods"...I walk the middle road and try to use more personal common sense, trusting in proven science when driven to or in immediate need and trusting more so in holistic medicine over the long run of things...just me is all. Hell I'm sure you realize that the biology of the human being in general has changed over the last 500 years and things that may affect us one way today may have had an adverse affect on us 500 years ago and vice versa...that's the bad thing about "proven biological science", we are always evolving and our bio-chemistry changes with time as a species...it's a losing game in the long run, "todays proven science" will change again tomorrow...gotta use common sense with logic, you can't trust the professionals even 85% of the time would be my guess...good simple example is the infamous "second opinion" when you go to a doctor...that phrase in itself is due to the fact that there needs to be more "concurrence" between professionals due to the actual lack of true knowledge available...and I'm sorry but that hasn't changed, it's still needed and still fallible as all "proven and unproven, statistical science" is and will remain to be due to our ever-changing bio-chemistries, environment, genetic mutations and many other variables you can throw into that particular melting pot.
