Hey Nebu I hear you and and am twice your age and remember what GE and America USED to be sadly... But yes, GE's pension liabilities alone is like the National Debt.

I got a brother-in-law who worked 47 years with them right out of high school, and he has attitude "I am due my pension" and that is how many "old union" folks were and are still- but for GE to survive in the future, as I see it too, is they are going to have to eliminate a LOT of that gravy train unfortunately, or they will become de-listed to OTC with continued PPS falls like this...

AND if they actually get to some form of a BK / Reorganization, the pension would be put into that Federal Pension Guaranty Fund and they get maybe 40% of their current $$$- if that even exists today, as it was mostly wiped out during 2008-2010 housing collapse and other fails under Obama Administration then...
