I don't know what was in the contract about how and when to invoice any gold sold. Also how it would relate to all the other services that both parties did agree on. It would have been nice to see some revenue on gold sales. But I think there could be a lot of reasons for why is hasn't.

But maybe

MarMar sold the gold and kept the money.

as the answer to Gitreal's question will be satisfying enough.
