I’ve seen this storyline before. Supply of carriers couldn’t keep up with demand through mid 2013. Prices skyrocketed and everyone jumped on board and saturated the market with ships. Demand took a nosedive and the players started sinking. Many abandoned ship. Now we are in the beginning stages of consolidation as the strong survivors will start to acquire smaller and weaker companies. NAT is a prime target IMHO. With their position in the spot markets, they are probably one of the best positioned companies as the market turns around. Smart money is beginning to move in.
