I tried to explain the proper terminology. You see if you lift something
that is expectations it is going higher. You lift a car in the market
you are taking the weight of the offering and removing it by lifting it.

When you want to sell you hit the bid which can make it go lower. I never
heard of slap the ask till I got on this board. You normally slap someone
to hurt them, you slap your kids hands to stop them. Hope you can grasp
this and if not life goes on.
