GSE's Backed by $250 billion in capital--per Stegman



Stegman isn't stupid. He does have an ax to grind though.

The $250B is NOT capital and he knows it. The idea that it is fits the "kill or at least neuter Fannie and Freddie" narrative that he is desparate to continue.
