Green poblanos aren't sweet, and they can have a bit of heat at the shoulder. But it varies from pepper to pepper, even from the same plant. Probably the sweetness develops when they turn red.

They have exceptional taste, don't you think? Excellent with anything Mexican or Tex-Mex.
