I have no idea when our first patent might be approved, what's important is over time I believe we'll get many of them. I believe it's clear that the company has people that know how to prepare them to gain approval, and if delays for modifications occur, they know how to meet the demands of the regulators so that eventually they will be approved.

This is really the key as otherwise nothing would prevent others from doing precisely what the company is doing now. I would suspect that discussion which may be ongoing with others are largely waiting on patent approval action. I'm not saying a partnership now is impossible now, but clearly it would be worth far more to the company once it's known that it has patent protection for at least one product, and more protection is expected any day.

I don't believe the company can have much influence on those who approve patents, though they may develop a rapport with them in meeting new demands they may make. The key is, they continue to work on them, none are being abandoned. I don't believe that would be the case if they knew approval was impossible. It will happen in time.
