I've seen all sorts of speculation here, everything from a hostile buyout to those believing in tremendous share price potential and frankly, nothing is impossible. I wouldn't want a hostile buyout, though it could be a big money maker for investors. I like the long term prospects with PSTI remaining independent, but that doesn't preclude the possibility of major partnerships, or a buy-in.

I've seen Roche buy into Genentech, then buy them out, then spin them out, then buy them out again. The point is that big Pharma has frequently partnered with companies, often taking a substantial interest with the purchase of say 20 to 40% of the stock, this by itself gives them a major say as to how the company functions. In a voting situation, it's almost impossible to defeat a measure supported by someone controlling 30% of the stock.

Either drug in trials today could bring such a partnership, together they'd bring more. The question is, how much would it take, and that's where I believe we'd be talking billions, immediately giving the company a multi-billion dollar market cap. I don't know if, or when such action may occur, but I don't think you can deny the possibility of it happening, and if you cannot do that, you cannot deny the possibility of a multi-billion dollar market cap in the near term future.
