Account value down another $900+ today. I have lost a decent amount each day this week. I only have $15,600 left in my brokerage account. Today's loss was mainly from ESV (again) and the expiration of my TWTR puts.
The TWTR puts were a penny yesterday, so my loss in value today on it is only $600. However, the total loss on this trade is $8,945. Which is a new record for me from when I first got back to trading in 2012. If you have followed this board since the inception, I always manage to get one of these type of trades after making new all time highs. In retrospect, I should have dumped it after the JP Morgan upgrade to $50. That was the kiss of death.
ESV closed down .13 to $6.81. That makes 8 days in a row now without a gain for the stock (7 red, 1 unchanged). It is sitting right above it's 50 DMA now ($6.79). Oil was up again, this time by 1.2%, however, most of the drillers were down. DO was down 5%, NE was down 2%, ESV was 1.9%. RIG was basically flat though.
AVOI closed down .0023 to .0275. It hade been as high as .038. I tried to add lower with the funds I got from selling MAAFF, but shot too low.
MAAFF was up .0017 to .004 on 145,000 in volume.
At least I cannot lose anymore from TWTR next week. I feel ESV will rebound soon. It usually rebounds after having a string of down days.
