The same way in which every shareholder benefited. Prior to his investment, the stock was trading under $2.00. In the months following his investments in 2013, the stock saw highs in the $6's with lots of liquidity.

The very first investor in a new startup is the hardest one to get. They typically are given a sweetheart of a deal relative to all subsequent investors, since that's what it usually takes.

If Vivian was really the first investor as Seymour has claimed, she might have found herself with a 100- or 1000-bagger on her hands during those days. She could have made a lot of hay had she sold into the post-Milton run-up.
