Verizon is Deactivating 3G Devices end of 2019
According to the following article Verizon has stopped activating new 3G Devices.
So not only is Geotraq now unable to activate its G200 on Verizon and AT&T, but also they had a 3G version according to their website and it now even if it worked flawlessly will not be activated on the Nation's largest Carrier.
This should be interesting if they actually devalue the Intangible Assets, because this clearly demonstrates it is now pretty much worthless, patent or no patent.
Rules for Intangibles does initially allow to book the purchase costs of an intangible asset. Afterwords, the rules are to book the lessor of the purchase costs vs Market Value. So considering they cant operate these devices on AT&T nor Verizon, would be cause for concern.[/I]
