No decisions from Minnesota DNR, No reasons to buy.
Not only does the Minnesota DNR, refuse to make decisions regarding permits for the Polymet / Northmet Project, but they refuse to provide any information as to when or IF they will ever make a decision regarding the Contested Case petitions.The petitions were turned in on March 6th. All comments were closed on April 9th, and they have provided no information regarding the matter of any kind. They will not give any estimate as to when they will make a decision as to proceed with the Contested Case Hearing or deny it. (My personal opinion is, if they proceed, they are admitting gross incompetence in their own permitting process...but I digress, and that’s not the issue here).I would be absolutely DELIGHTED TO GET A DEADLINE frome the Minnesota DNR on any matter of substance that means anything. We all know that the issue here is politics now. Some politicians are just hoping that Glencore gives up, and that the few thousand small investors who lose their stakes, are confused as to whom reall is to blame. They only get one vote each anyway...and a lot of them are’nt Minnesotans.
