After lots of back and forth, the House is set to vote on proceeding to conference the farm bill tomorrow early afternoon. Senate soon to follow. @ConawayTX11 hopes to have the first public meeting next week.

The Farm Bill Conference Committee is required to hold only 1 public meeting

If the public meeting is held next week, that is a sign that they are now getting serious about negotiations and reaching a deal quickly
