I agree! Being a Health Insurance Broker for over 15 years I would like to point out a couple of things about the Heart Sentry that many may not realize.
The Ultrasound that the Heart Sentry is most closely compared to from the Health Insurance perspective, not only comes at a substantial cost, but also & most importantly has to be pre-authorized with the insurance company for approval before it may be provided to the patient. Not only does it have to be pre-authorized but Cardio/Arterial disease symptoms have to be present to justify the need for the test. In my opinion, the Heart Sentry may become the standard of testing to the point that the Insurance companies will require testing using the Heart Sentry or similar device (which there isn't any currently) prior to approval of any more expensive testing.
Since Lexington is currently working on reimbursement for use in the providers office, it is very plausible that the insurance companies will want EVERYONE tested with this device (or similar device which there isn't any) in an attempt to bring Arterial Disease to a preventive measure from a very expensive treatment condition.
The Heart Sentry in my opinion will not only save lives, but will become the most significant disruption to Cardiovascular Health and disease prevention.
