When we are talking to another person and they start to gossip and say things about someone that puts that person down in some way be it truth or untruth...do we consider how we would feel if we were the one being talked about so we just change the subject or excuse ourselves? When someone is in the hospital or nursing home and we think about going to see them and we never get around to it....do we ever think what it would be like if we were the one there and no one came to see us? If we see donation boxes for food and clothing and we know there is a huge need do we take the time to do those things...do we ever think what its like be hungry or without a coat in the winter? If we are talking to someone and we see they have a problem or sickness or need of some sort do we ask them if we can pray for them right then and there...do we think about how nice it is when someone offers to pray for us? When we see a family or an individual that is struggling to make ends meet do we take a bag of can goods and sit it on their porch and go about our way...do we ever think about what its like to be lacking and how thoughtful that would be if we were the one in need? Do we know folks that are unsaved but we somehow never take the time to witness to them even though we know how bad hell is going to be and do we remember that most likely someone witnessed to us from time to time before we came to know Jesus and how thankful we are for them. So i know y'all see where im coming from this morning so lets think on these two things today. What did Jesus mean when He said in Matthew 25:40...."Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me."....and.... Do we truly try and live by Luke 6:31..."Do to others as you would have them do to you." ......Y'all have a blessed day!
