MP in survival mode. I went to a Regal Cinemas movie and they charged $17.50 for the ticket. What a rip. That’s near equivalent to two national average ticket price movies. Utilization needs to be 0.5 per month for MP under such ticket pricing environment. Seems Regal taking advantage of MoviePass. And at prices like that, $10/month and surge pricing is still a huge savings.
So, you cannot book in advance. First world problem. People are so spoiled they can’t just go buy a ticket at the theater? Big whoop. Same issues as you’ve had, just now a surcharge for some movies and theater locations. $20/month equivalent is still a good deal for city dwellers. Go to the partner theaters as much as possible. Support MP as it tries to make it. Your extra cost is a few commissions on your stock trades.
Oh well. You shop at Walmart and Amazon too?
