I don't think Ken would have made the comment about potentially winding down AIM2CERV if a deal was close. If he was in advanced/serious negotiations with a partner, I just don't think he goes there publicly... no need to if he was confident a deal would be coming together soon.

Totally agree with you. He did not need to say a thing other than make the deal. Maybe he's just hoping it catches someone's eye? Doubtful though, it's been around for YEARS.

I was more hoping that a HOT deal was in the works. Being HOT is "somewhat" v2 of AXAL, I'd think the FDA hold could have caused some hesitancy. The AXAL stuff is by in large written off in my book. Cash savings is basically the only return on that investment. They waited far too long to strike on it. I could be wrong though. Caution is definitely required going forward.
