No because you are using solar for Energy production not the water. The way I’m reading everything is basically like a solar panel. Solar panels produce more energy than they cost over time because they are using the suns energy not the panels energy....

This tower is using hot dry air to create a reaction “evaporative cooling” that creates “pressure” IE downdraft in which they extrapolate energy out of turbines. It’s really genius!!!

Cost to pump water is apples to oranges. The water just feeds the chain reaction. I’m actually looking this as a solar project not wind. Which is why they are designated as solar in California. So a State understands it, the city of San Luis understands it, Israeli college understands it, and I’m starting to understand it!!! GLTA
