Why would halcyon short.

ARE YOU KIDDING!

By shorting anything above $3.18 they lock-in a guaranteed PROFIT. No worries if the price went higher. They have warrants to cover with. When it goes down, they have locked-in a profit while retaining the time-value of their warrants. Wow... that is basic stuff!

Halcyon already disclosed they will short. Here is their EXACT wording and the link to verify:

"The Reporting Persons continuously assess the Issuer’s business, financial condition, results of operations and prospects, general economic conditions, other developments and additional investment opportunities. Depending on such assessments, the Reporting Persons may acquire additional securities of the Issuer or new securities of the Issuer, engage in any hedging or similar transactions with respect to the Issuer’s securities, or may determine to sell or otherwise dispose of all or some of the Issuer’s securities in the open market, in privately negotiated transactions, in transactions directly with the Issuer or otherwise"

You can read "hedging" to mean "SHORTING".

Halcyon is a toxic shark. They will sell out Finjan in a heartbeat to make a buck. They are probably the ones who paid for the latest promotion.
