Thanks Dutch and Zero. Venting helps. You're correct, I am still in shock and also so disappointed the money is up in smoke. So much good could have been done, I donated 10% at best. I do have a term life policy and feel the most moral thing I can do is kill myself and transfer that money from the insurer to charity, but it would destroy my mother and it's probably a cowardly act. You're correct, I seemed determined to lose it all. Now my back really is against the wall. I had to choose between moving in with family and Korea. So it's Korea. I hope you're not facing homelessness. I don't think anyone in the US would hire me given what I just spent 9 years doing.
