Did you read the near 2 year old article you linked? It says in part:
"It’s unclear what kind of information was stolen from the RNC, and how much of it, just as the motive is unknown."

The later Wall Street Journal article I linked earlier clarifies that only a small portion of RNC emails were able to be hacked.

Obviously, the dirt ws found at the DNC and around HRC. No surprise in that.

Now back to the economy.
