I'm not sure how to take their waiting for September on current processor sale guidance

AMD has given this type of guidance -- non-guidance actually -- in the past. Translated it means that they are not doing well but hope to pull a rabbit out of the hat in the last quarter and save the quarter.

Generally, AMD is unable to do that. Once they were able to sell a bunch of product at a heavily discounted price but they paid the price during the next quarter when the excess processors worked their way through the system.
