My PERSONAL understanding of the current status is that: a) at some point we lost an initial challenge re: patent issuance date in Caspars' court. However, Caspar opined that her decision would, rightful in her opinion, be overturned if challenged on a certain point. I apologize that I cannot cite the case and/or point. However, the gist was that the full patent duration should be reinstated with the lost years being added to the front end going forward.
