In the first three quarters of 2017, the main exporter of coffee in Central America was Honduras, with $1.222 billion, followed by Guatemala, with $690 million, Nicaragua, with $466 million, Costa Rica with $284 million, El Salvador, with $113 million and Panama with $21 million.

Variation of regional imports
Between the first nine months of 2016 and 2017, the value imported into the region grew by 29%, increasing from $2.167 billion to $2.795 billion.
