Here goes...let's say you have facility with 100 compact fluorescent lamps with each lamp rated at 40 watts (0.04 kilowatts), each lamp operate for 8 hours per day, 365 days per year. So that is 0.04kw*100 lamps* 8 hours * 365 days = 11680 kWh .
LED lamps rated at 15 watts (0.015 kilowatts) .so that is 0.015kw* 100 LED lamps* 8 hours *365 days =4380 kWh .
Let say you pay 0.2 cents per kWh.

LED would be 0.2cents *4380 kWh = $876
Fluorescent lamp would be 0.2 cents * 11680 kWh =$ 2,336
Savings = 2,336-876 =1,460
That's real data plus carbon footprint
