Sam, sir i am skeptical as well. i cannot imagine why any qualified successful reputable person would dare step in and associate his or her self with delcath co considering its history.
I am also skeptical of many other things.
I am skeptical of this new anonymous foreign investor.
As per sec regs as it applies to foreign entities, he is not required to be revealed but it is not required that he NOT be revealed and with this company's history the fact that he's not revealed is suspicious.
I am also skeptical about claims that delcath is within a quiet period. A quiet period does not require them to be totally silent and dismissive of shareholders.
In my personal business dealings I have indirectly witnessed my share of fraudulent dealings. I have seen how a perfectly legitimate looking company can be illegitimately and nefariously used to fund foreign or domestic interests which have no relevance to the company's product, operation or business model.
I do hope that is not what is happening here - especially with the involvement of Ayrton cap and this unnamed foreign investor.
Unfortunately, I am skeptical that anything good can ever come from this company for current shareholders.
We have not even received our validation of the rights offering.
imo, bankruptcy is a clear possibility and there of course would be nothing good about that for us.
imho, there is a very good chance that a big deal is going down right now.
This big deal, this perfect big storm that is brewing,
will ultimately make someone or some entity very wealthy or wealthier than they already are.
This someone or entity will not be retail shareholders.
This someone or entity, foreign or domestic -
{most likely foreign} will be the one to whom the transfer of wealth of this company {that's been generated nefariously}
is granted - and at our expense as long suffering struggling shareholders.
This is all imho and i hope i am wrong but i challenge you or anyone to please reply and state how this cannot be a valid theory.
