Quang Nam hopes to restore effectively the local silkworm rearing

The US $ 50 million project funded by the US-based Kraig Biocraft Laboratories (KBL), an investor in Dai Hiep Commune (Dai Loc, Quang Nam), will conduct hybrid breeding. Maize silkworm Bombyx Mori with silkworms in the water to create high-tech products for export.

In order to implement this project, from January 2017, KBL has conducted a survey and submitted a preliminary investment proposal on high-tech silkworm production to Quang Nam for reporting to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development The mulberry grows over 200ha and purchases all of the cocoons, producing as silk fibers.
