The shiny gold coins pictured in the Facebook update are 9 half eagles. The EXPL page has more pictures than Blue Waters and there is a close up picture where I could see all the dates. I did the math and according to Red Book the value of just those 9 coins if they get a 60 grade is $128K.

I wonder if the ring they found, which is a ruby, or maybe a diamond is worth more than those 9 half eagles.

Regardless, a very good couple of days. Time to find lover boy’s stash said to have a face value of $25K.

Oh, and did you see EXPL said the total face value of the 400 coins found is less than $300?

The total face value of what was said to have gone down with the ship was $150K. That means we haven’t scratched the surface yet.
