Intellipharmaceutics International Inks Securities Purchase Deals With Institutional Investors

02:08 PM EDT, 03/14/2018 (MT Newswires) -- Intellipharmaceutics International (IPCI), a specialist in the development and manufacturing of oral solid dosage drugs, said Wednesday that it signed securities purchase agreements with certain institutional investors.

The move paves the way for the purchase and sale of 5,833,334 common shares at $0.60 per share in a registered direct offering, resulting in total gross proceeds of about $3.5 million, according to a statement.

The company also agreed to issue unregistered warrants to purchase 2,916,667 shares at an exercise price of $0.60 per share. The warrants will be exercisable six months following the closing date and will expire 30 months after the date they become exercisable.
