Nervous for sure—only nervous. I’m hard on my favorite sports teams: but it’s precisely because i love them and want them to excel competitively that I don’t tolerate all the homer, koolaid-soaked excuses of most fans: as if one must EITHER be a “true fan” (i.e. accept whatever the team serves up) OR be “disloyal and negative.” Perhaps I drive too hard—but I usually know the outcome long before others come to accept it
