A new issue: the recently elected Socialist Mexican President. He has made noises about foreign involvement in the country's oil industry. Will he target foreign mining companies, too? If so, in the best case companies could expect the Mexican Government to take a fat cut of their profits, as Indonesia does. Perhaps it is too early to worry.
