tyguy1505, I was thinking of buying more shares. And, that thought prompted me to take a closer look at the stock market in general, besides committing any funds in specific stocks such as BAC. However, to me, the larger market picture does not inspire confidence, right now. Just my O.

My background/education is in civil engineering. I've done the required studies in stock market psychology, market cycles, T/A and F/A and read many good books. Been in the market for several decades, as a trader (short term) and an investor long term. Aware of the critical need of good timing, pertinent knowledge of the many aspects of the stock market "game", and the need for discipline, a realistic expectation, and good money/risk management experience- over many years.

Imo, the intermediate term (3-6 months) the larger market is not looking good. Reasons are few. Has been a long bull market since the last big market cycle bottom in March 2009. Furthermore, the political picture is looking even worse. I have a feeling that a market shakeup may be shaping up at this time with a likely breakdown in the October/November/December time frame as the political winds get much stronger. Accordingly, I am not in favor of buying stocks (except in Utilities and few long term promising ones). I feel in this environment I'll postpone buying until a the market in general becomes more attractive. Now they are rather highly valued, based on PE average of 20. This is my personal opinion, of course. GLTY
