Too late to get that question in, but here are some answers from yesterday afternoons email.
1. Has Guided Therapeutics at any time in the past sought out any partnerships with university/college teaching hospitals to assist in getting LuViva tested, to market and/or for funding (such as ColdEze with Dartmouth College)?
No, we haven't tried this. We haven't had the money to do additional studies at this time.
2. Can you disclose what the $500K from GHS is being used for at this time?
I assume that you're referring to the S1 that we filed on June 14th. This is really an insurance policy for us that we might use between now and the time that we close on our upcoming financing, which we hope will be in the next 2 -3 months. We didn't get $500k from GHS. It is an Equity Financing, meaning that GHS will lend us money on a monthly basis based on the dollar volume of trading that is done with our stock. Again, at this point we don't intend to use the Equity Financing very much, but it is cheaper money than we have been getting otherwise.
3. In India, what company is the LOI with, if DSS Imagetech is no longer in the picture?
We plan on working with renatusmedicals.
4. Will the quarterly report be filed on time? If not, is there a timeframe you can disclose?
We will file within the "filing window." Hopefully we won't need an extension.
5. Has there been any additional reorders of the disposables?
Yes, we have had reorders from Indonesia and Nigeria. However, we're focused on the large contract from Turkey. Our distributor has told us that things should move forward now that the elections have been completed.
6. Has there been any new orders for the machines?
We have a pending order for 5-10 units from Indonesia. Again, the order from Turkey is larger.
7. Have you come to an agreement regarding forgiveness of debt and compensation or awards in lieu of that is owed to you?
I have told the board that I'm ready to sign at any time. Unfortunately, they have taken over 6 weeks to get back to me. I hope to have this wrapped up next week. I intend,(not finalized yet) to forgive $1 million of what I'm owed. I also have not been paid in the last 2 and 1/2 years.
8. In previous PR’s it has been my understanding that the Asian distributor and partner was paying for China FDA submission. Is that not the case? If it has been delayed, can you tell me why?
The Asian partner, SMI, is paying for the Chinese FDA studies and approval. We also continue to work with them to transfer manufacturing of the unit and the disposable to China. We're having discussions with them right now on Chinese FDA approval. As we put out in a press release recently, we don't think that they'll be approved until the second half of 2019. However, SMI told us yesterday that they are trying to accelerate that time.
The last question is in regards to a nasty rash I got from a ferret and I'd rather not disclose his answer.
