Hi SPPI Bull, I wanted to let you know I re-read my response to you and it reads harsher than the way it sounds in my head. Sorry about that. I'm not trying to bash you or prevent you from contributing a thought, opinion, or even speculation. I just find that whenever people receive the kind of news that we received, people have a tendency to start making super-positive claims while ignoring any potential negative possibilities. And those positive claims often have no solid evidence to back them up. The reality is: it's also possible that someone knows the Rolontis data won't stand up to long-term scrutiny (as someone on CafePharma claimed) and wanted to cash out while the getting was good. I don't think that's very likely at all. But it is a possibility.

My own personal speculation is: The Bloomberg article was meant to attract attention to SPPI, especially leading up to this Rolontis data release and September. I don't think a sale will happen in the near-term, however. JT clearly likes to lead and he has finally taken the reins. Why would he give that up? Also, if the pozi results are as good as they say they are, they stand to gain so much more by bringing it to market themselves. Of course, they might need to raise funds in the near-term. And they now have a number of new shares to do so. Raising the profile of SPPI is not a bad thing.

Then again, maybe the people Raj installed during his tenure are not very easy to get rid of and maybe they are hampering JT's vision, ability to grow, etc, and maybe he's decided it's better to leave than stay. Who knows!?
