I agree. From your original article it sounds like the 140-160 million VND included the silkworm rearing. So paying about $9k USD to get 1.4 metric tons of silkworm cocoon seems like a pretty good deal (and that's with the low-tech process). After reeling the cocoons and disposing of the pupae, I'm curious to know how much raw silk that would yield. I also wonder if Kim will opt to put up capital for high-tech automated reeling which would initially be expensive, but save money (and I'm guessing it would add to quality consistency) in the long run.
