The Mexus losses were caused by one hare-brained, amateurish project after another. Not just a "mine".

a test run which showed a MarMar didn’t know how to leach or recover gold.

LOL.....I seem to recall months of glowing posts about how much experience they had, how solid their finances were (someone even said they were "billionaires"), how big their staff of experts was (metallurgists, geologists, engineers, lawyers, etc.). There was even a promotional .pdf that was put together with pictures of heavy equipment, job sites, project listings, even a whole page devoted to a damn plane sitting in a hangar.

All of those glowing accolades....and Mexus had to secretly finance them, and yet they still produced only 8.2 ounces. Or 8.5 ounces. "Amazin' rich pond", my azzzz.......
