I talked to the General Manager, a programmer, and dude form Wolfgang Puck, the dude from California Pizza Kitchen, and then Nolan himself tonight quite extensively.

I should have taken notes....

Waited at the bar for a good 1/2 hour before we got our table. The place was packed! I have some very blury pictures because the camera on my cell phone sucks that I'll post later. So far they've been open 5 days and they've had a ton of repeat customers who wonder in then come back with friends. It's already getting busy, and been busy the last two days including Friday lunch was slamming, without ANY advertising whatsoever. 100% pure word of mouth.

There were twice as many games today as 4 days ago. They told me they found a ton of bugs the first three days that they took care of which worked out perfectly as the first 3 days were kind of slow and they were able to fix them quickly as a result then Thursday and Friday....BAM! Busier than they expected as they were running out of a few things.

Nolan says they only have, at most, 10% of what they are going to put in technology wise up and running. And it's already quite impressive! I asked to be part of the next private placement round and he said I can, but the bad news is he doesn't anticipate having to do another round. "I find the financial architecture as important as the technological architecture," he said. Then he went on to explain the reason why they plan on doing 2 franchises for every 1 company-owned store is that the franchise fees & hardware-software sales will give UWNK enough money to open a company-owned stores. The fees/sales they get from franchisees is 4-5 times larger than any other franchise model chain due to the technology sales.

Terminals on the bar in about a week. Cocktail tables outside coming soon (as the bar is already filling up - even at midnight they had a pretty good crowd still). Some light advertising may begin in about a week.

To that poster who claimed the tables are empty.....LOL. 9:30 at night and we had to wait for one. So much for empty, lol

Confirmed.... alias buck22 was in fact Nolan. Company officers do occasionally glance at this board but they tend to work from 7am to midnight every single day so they don't have a lot of time. All of them appear to be on red bull and cappucino and don't believe in sleep, lol. Also they all know I am Rawnoc and have known that this very curious "customer" was me, lol Nolan's youngest son FWIW is "all in" UWNK.

I hate to use one visit on a Friday as a gage that the concept officially works....but let's just say so far it's a raving success. And the true money-making aspects aren't even in place yet.

It's late, I'm tired, and my head is filled with junk right now. Any questions?
