Because there are big pharma worth billions and billions who want to fill pipelines for extra cheap. The hire off shore hedges who hire the trolls and the take years to set a specific vibe and coordinate the attack all while working the front end of a deal under cda and bring the deal to the furthest point possible and back out. This makes the tiny bio need to scramble for additional financing and putting some developments on hold while the company moves on to the next cda.
It’s a very detailed and thought out plan. All while minions post negative crap and how many days late data is every day.....bringing more pressure.

That same BP is in the pocket of major CROs and pays for delays....

All and all if done right to a single indication and poorly run bio. They go under. Happens all the time. IMO. Lol
