I agree.
It is hard for people who are new to the company to convert the news of trees to the idea of silk. The news feels mundane.

But using the ratio posted in the last article I linked 340Ha produces 270 tons.

2500 Acres is 1011 Ha

1011 Ha = 800 tons of silk a year

This doubles the countrys silk production from what I can see.

As perspective, good silk is $50k a ton

$40,000,000 at mundane silk price.

looking for corrections to my speculation. I was a bit shocked at the math myself. I was expecting a far smaller start.
