Thank you, kind Sir.

I'm glad to see your garden doing so well. I honestly believe the Dixondale onions are of superior quality. As woeful as mine have done this year. I've still got a few baseball sized bulbs. I planted quite a few bulbs of the Walla Walla's that we didn't eat last year. They are going to seed. My plan is to try growing my own from seed this next winter.

The rest of the garden has been thirsty. We finally had a nice soaking rain of a couple inches two days ago. I'm anxious to see how things respond? I've got quite a few things going well. The onions aren't one of them, but the Yukon gold potatoes are better than I've ever grown. My tomatoes are doing okay, really coming on of late, they like the extreme heat.

The sweet potato color package that I ordered from Jung seed arrived late. They are finally taking root and going to town. I hope we have enough time for them to thrive? I'll be loaded with green bush and pole beans, along with a few rows of Lima beans. My cukes are just now getting going, as well as the watermelon. Cukes grow fast and have a short growth period, I'm sure they'll do well. Watermelon???? well....I planted a few smaller type that mature quickly, in order for the bigguns to have enough summer to mature? they'd better get going.

Can't really complain, though. The compost soil amendment I did the last few years is paying huge dividends.
