So when you called did Fidelity let you make the purchase or did they tell you they won't. I was curious if they just had some default setting in peoples account they can remove. Glad, Etrade doesn't do that crap to me I would just switch anyway. What if you had need to make a move selling all of a sudden on long position and you couldn't because they are playing games like that. Like I said was like having a checking account with a debit card when you shop for alcohol at the grocery store it won't approve your purchase because someone at the bank decided risk could fall on them.
