Frederick Bauman, OTC Attorney
Fred Bauman is a leading Corporate and Securities attorney. A Harvard Law School graduate, Mr. Bauman is a partner at the Frederick C. Bauman Law Office in Las Vegas, with an international practice in corporate, securities, mining and mineral rights law. His clients include numerous public and private companies of varying degrees of scale and maturity. He represents issuers in public offerings, private placements and venture capital transactions. From 2003 until 2008, Mr. Bauman was Vice President and General Counsel of Sunterra, an international public resort company headquartered in Las Vegas. Previously he was a Corporate and Securities Partner at Brown & Bain, a large Phoenix-based law firm with a high tech legal practice. Mr. Bauman joined Bell Atlantic (now named Verizon) in the 1980’s as a securities attorney, subsequently serving as general counsel of Bell Atlantic’s computer business and, later, its financial services business. Prior to that, he was an attorney at Davis Polk, a large Wall Street law firm in New York City. Mr. Bauman is one of Las Vegas’ best known mining attorneys, and this expertise derives from his family mining business, which has owned mines in Arizona and Montana for many years. He is highly knowledgeable concerning the legal needs of small public mining companies traded on the OTCBB or OTC Markets.
