Good post. My wife and I have been discussing the influence of our actions, both conscious and unconscious, that reading the boards regarding ATWT can have.

We believe that this is what I stated in an earlier post is... a rare and different, as you so well stated, "investment."

Your post also provides some answers to me about why people trade this stock the way they do while looking at the facts.
I have concluded that just as there are those out there who make livings day trading, swing trading and all the other kinds of trading, there are those out there who specialize in making money by psychological methods by using posts on boards they know are read by the inexperienced trader, like myself.

Together with a good mentor at manipulating people's thinking (happens all the time in marketing) experience at trading and a couple of psychology classes, a few organized plan following folks with a common goal could lead many unknowing investors down the long path simply by taking advantage of people's absolute "I want it now without waiting inclination" as well as some well worded phrases designed to shake the confidence of inexperienced traders who have ventured into new and uncharted waters. A person in this point of their trading days can easily be thrown to and fro by the "what if" or "that could happen" mind set., all IMHO
