Not necessarily. Even if ALKM is being investigated by the SEC, they don't always get suspended right away.

The big problems is that, if ALKM gets suspended, they are SEC-registered, which usually results in revocation of the ticker. That would make ALKM a private company with little chance investors could sell their stock.

It would also almost guarantee a class action lawsuit against the CEO and the company.
