I live within 5 miles of the 69 Woodstock site....was only 8 back then....but my parents and I did drive through the mayhem on the backroads roads doing 2 or 3 mph at best, people sitting on back of cars and on the front hoods of cars and not even asking, lol, locals were selling cups of water for a dollar, Route 17 was shut down, all major roads were essentially a parking lot everywhere, I mean like for 40+miles on all major roads, lmao.....Now there is a Performing Arts Center and Museum in Bethel NY on that property:
