Excellent point! The real cost and hassle of shipping crude by rail or truck is the loading and unloading and the capital expense of the tank cars or trucks, nott the actual transit between loading point and unloading point. So without a pipeline, it is as easy to ship Permian oil to Houston as it would be to ship it to career crook and swindler JACK HANKS' imaginary, fictional CDO.

Without pipelines, it's virtually the same to ship crude to Houston as to Ft. Stockton.
