You not seeing significance in volume or in MM manipulation of volume then you may have much more to learn about trading and investing in stocks. I am not trying to be mean but volume is a major indicator of many things. Volume being the amount of shares being bought or sold while momentum is the focus on PPS changes as buying happens or selling happens depending on the direction its going. Also look at volatility, shorting metrics, and RSI's
