I apologize if I missed a previous explanation for why the BID is ~1.4B (31% of the O/S). I'm sure I would have remembered reading such an explanation.

I'm pretty sure that all advice about trading penny stocks can be boiled down to one word: don't.

It still looks to me as though 'something is going on' with this stock. I suppose it could be 'nefarious' -- a fake huge bid at .0001 that will disappear at some point, but the only obvious reason it would disappear is massive dumping by sellers trying to get out at all costs, which would then drive the stock to no bid.

But why the bid exists in the first place just isn't obvious to me, unless someone is trying to get lots of NECA shares for the lowest price possible (excluding market maker trading at less than .0001).
